We’ll be playing a set on Friday June 13th at Victoria Park as part of the PEI 2014 celebrations. We’ll be debuting some new-ish-er stuff. You know how it goes.
Hope to see you there! Others taking the stage include Coyote, who are releasing a single later in the night at Fishbones, Wildcat, Dylan Menzie, and Drea MacDonald.
We will be playing twice during the 2014 East Coast Music Awards, here’s the deets!
9pm, Thursday April 3rd / The Guild (Queen St.) / Music PEI Stage
10pm, Friday April 4th / Hunters Alehouse (Kent St.) / ECMA POP ROCK Stage
We will have a fill in for our regular violinist for Thursday night’s show, since Morgan will be off celebrating her 4 year music degree with a final concert up at UPEI. Congrats Morgan!
We also made the Mixtape Magazine MIX PICKS read about it here!
While our front man Sam is off crusading the turquoise seas of SE Asia, we’re prepping ourselves for PEI’s turn at hosting East Coast Music Week 2014. ECMW is always a highlight for us, but even more so when we get to host it. Our second show ever as a group was an ECMA showcase we won, and just last year we played the RBC Breakout Stage in Halifax. So far this year we’re scheduled for two showcases, and who knows what else when the time comes around. We heard there is an all day/all night jam happening at Babas, special permit and all! That would be cool to play.
Check us out on the Pop/Rock Stage as well as the Music PEI Stage.
Until then.. Keep warm and stay cool.
Sending out a big ole *THANK YOU* to Music PEI, the voting members, and the general public for treating us so well and saying nice things. We are over the moon with the New Artist of the Year win! A big congrats out to all the award winners. It was an incredible night pulled off so well by the staff at Music PEI and the Delta and everyone involved.
Music PEI Week begins this Friday, and we’re kicking it off by playing the PEI Brewing Company House of Rock show. This was a sold out event last year, so you should get your tickets in advance over HERE. The show has a unique set up where you’ll get to hear 2 bands at a time playing song for song and chatting with the host, Todd Gallant.
We’re up for 3 Music PEI Awards this year which is pretty neat to say the least. We’re glad people are liking the new album. If you haven’t picked up your copy, head down to Back Alley Music on University Avenue or buy a digital version from our bandcamp (where you can always stream for free).
Hope to see you out at the shows, taking in everything MPEI Week has to offer!
We are feeling really lucky.. to have received 3 Music PEI Award nominations! Houle EP is up for ‘Pop Recording of the Year’ and ‘Group Recording of the Year’, and we’re also up for New Artist of the Year! We can’t wait to kick of Music PEI Week, but first..

We are looking forward to our next gig, happening Monday, September 23rd at The Mack Theatre in our hometown Charlottetown! As we strive to further ourselves in 2014, this Showcase put on by Music PEI is a unique opportunity for us to meet and network with key players, movers, and shakers in the industry. We kick off the 6th annual event at 8pm, and the public is encouraged to sit in with the visiting delegates. We hope to see some local faces there! Also playing will be The Meds, English Words, the North Lakes, and Racoon Bandit. $15 is a steal.
Something special is happening! To celebrate, we’re rocking Hunters with TEEM.
See you there!
